JBL unveils new cinema sound package called CS500 Cinepack

JBL just announced its new Cinema Sound CS500 Cinepack. It is designed to be an incredible sollution for the audiophiles, it is the "must-have solution for listeners who want to enjoy all the thrilling sonic and emotional impact of the movie theater and live performance experience at home."

The CS500 includes four models

• CST55 2-way floorstanding speaker


• CSS55 2-way centre channel


• CSB5 2-way surround speaker


• CSS10 300-watt, 250mm powered subwoofer.

The advanced engineering is taken from the JBL's line industry standard professional loudspeakers and consists in titanium-laminate tweeters with EOS waveguide, neodymium magnet assembly and PolyPlas polymer-coated-cellulose-fibre cones.

All models feature rich metallic-silver enclosures and trim, with contrasting high-gloss-black front panels and removable black grilles. The sleek slim-tower of the CST55 floorstanding loudspeaker enable it to be easily positioned as front channel speakers in a home entertainment system, whilst the CSC55 centre channel speaker is perfectly sized for installation above or below flat-panel HD TV screens. Both the CSC55 and the CSB5 can also be wall mounted using the supplied wall brackets for ultimate flexibility.

JBL CS500 Cinepack is available from this month (March) and has a recommended retail price of $2,699.
